Good Samaritans uganda Mbarara – Project Vision
At Good Samaritans in Mbarara city, Our vision is to provide a loving, safe, and nurturing home for orphaned and vulnerable children. While many of our children are currently cared for by compassionate families who have volunteered to welcome them, our long-term goal is to build a dedicated home that will offer them stability, belonging, and opportunities to thrive.
Our planned children’s home will include:
• Separate dormitories for boys and girls to ensure comfort, privacy, and safety.
• A well-equipped kitchen where nutritious meals can be prepared daily.
• A multipurpose hall to serve as a gathering space for learning, counseling, worship, and community activities.
• An environmentally friendly solar energy system that will allow the home to be fully self-sufficient in energy usage.
• A community farm that will provide fresh, healthy food for the children while also teaching them valuable agricultural skills.
Through this project, we aim to create not just a shelter, but a true home—a place filled with love, hope, learning, and dignity for every child entrusted to us.
